Hazel

Hazel brings a distinctive sense of calm and character, thoughtfully designed to reflect the natural beauty that surrounds it. With interiors inspired by woodland tones, the lodge is styled in rich forest green, softened by sage and warm neutral accents. Subtle brass details in the kitchen and en-suite spaces add a refined finish, creating an atmosphere that feels both grounded and quietly indulgent.

The layout has been carefully considered for comfort and flexibility, with en-suite bedrooms positioned at either end of the living area—ideal for enjoying your own space while sharing time away with family or friends. At the heart of the lodge, the open-plan living space invites you to relax, with views that draw your eye out across the loch and ever-changing landscape.

Hazel is particularly special for those who appreciate the quieter details of nature. Perfectly positioned for birdwatching, the lodge offers sweeping views across the water and towards a small nearby island, where a variety of birdlife can often be spotted from the comfort of the lounge or even your bedroom window. It’s a place to sit back, observe, and reconnect with the rhythm of the outdoors.

The bathrooms continue the sense of retreat, featuring a deep bath for long, restorative soaks and a refreshing walk-in rain shower. Luxury branded toiletries are provided, adding an extra touch of care to your stay.

Reviews

“Absolutely wonderful place, we had such a nice relaxing holiday. The lodge was immaculate and had everything we needed, every detail has been thought about. I love the interior which was done to a really high spec plus the hot tub was fantastic! Brilliant for dogs too with the enclosed outdoor area and warm water tap to wash them with. The views are beautiful and there are lots of walks near by. Fiona was very helpful in suggesting things for us to do. Can’t wait to come back! “

“Fantastic location, the view from the lodge is beautiful seeing all the wildlife and livestock. It is extremely relaxing but a good base if you want to explore. The village shop is lovely with homemade takeaways offered about 3 times a week. The lodge itself we couldn’t fault especially with the attention to detail and its cleanliness. Fantastic hosts we would definitely love to return. “
